The land use of this farm corresponds to 8.4 hectares of forest plantations of precious species such as cristóbal and cocobolo and amarillón hardwood species between 26 and 28 years of age, which makes them practically ready for harvest. These plantations are under certified forest plantation management (international forest certification) and registered in voluntary forestry regimen with MINAE/SINAC (office in Quepos, Puntarenas). There are also 25 hectares of teak regrowth that has not been managed and that corresponds to teak plantations were harvested and the wood sold in 2018. This area has a lot of potential to replant teak or some other agroforestry or agricultural crop. The rest of the farm is comprised of streams and native protection forests that add up to 20.4 ha.
Access to the farm starting in the town of Parrita and going along an asphalt road to the town of La Palma for 5.3 km (going from Parrita to Jaco) to enter north to the banana farm La Flor (gravel road) and after 1.5 km you reach the packing house and turn west on a gravel road for 2.2 km and reach the entrance of the farm. From this entrance and to the east the farm adjoins a public road (gravel and dirt) for about 2.2 km. This public road gives it the advantage of being able to segregate parcels, among other benefits.
