BARCA acquired the farm together with the adjoining farms known internally as farms 42 and 52, which form an area of high agricultural value due to their fertile soils, flat topography and water all year round from the Riyito River. It was planted with teak for a European investment project and managed under the principles of forest certification. The teak was harvested in 2018 and the farm is currently being used to graze cattle, taking advantage of the proximity to the Riyito River that has water all year round.
